This ITC Certificate in First Aid for Sport, Exercise, and Fitness at SCQF Level 6 course qualification is for the sports person, coach, spectator, or another involved adult. As well as the basic life support and illness management topics found in most first aid courses. This qualification includes key sports-related incident management topics. This qualification is recognized throughout the UK.
The qualification has been review by Skills Active and is suitable for REP’s cpd points by suitable training Centres.

Tillycroy Services has now become an approved first aid supplier for Scottish Youth Football Association Clubs. This Sports First Aid course has been designed to meet the requirements of the SYFA Club Licensing.
Scottish Football Association Club Licensing includes the requirement that clubs have at least 1 person on the touchline with all teams. Who have Sports First Aid training, where a Chartered Physiotherapist is not present.
The course is 12 hours in duration.
Topics include; return to play decisions, managing specialist sports kits such as gum shields, when to and not to use ice, and sports specific first aid such as managing to wind, blows to testicles, dead leg, possible compartment syndrome, assisting from the pitch and other sports-related first aid concerns.
This qualification is design to provide essential life-saving skills. Typical delivery methods are predominantly practical and the course is assess by continual observation of candidate performance.
