Risk Assessment

Objectives:

This course will allow all attending to understand the causes of accidents within the workplace and the action that is required both to minimise the effects of such accidents/incidents.  It will also enable the attendees to identify current and or potential hazards. They will learn to risk assess these hazards, which in turn will reduce the dangers from them.

Course Content:

Classroom:-

• Current Legislation
• Why do we need to assess risk
• What is the Risk
• Applying a control measure using the control measure hierarchy
• Working safely
• Carry out risk assessments and produce Safe Working Procedure documents

Notes:

Candidates will be expected to take a full and active part in the training and will be required to demonstrate their capabilities to conduct generic risk assessments.
